Materials List to bring:
- Apron
- 1 sealed jar for dirty solvent
- Gloves that fit properly
- paper towel roll
- Titanium white, ivory black, yellow ochre, cad red oil paints.
- If you have oil brushes bring them along.

In your workshop, we will learn the basic tools needed to set you on an exciting new creative path using this versatile cold wax medium.
The Introductory Cold Wax Workshop will include notes on all information discussed in class, demonstrations and individual tutoring to deal with specific needs.
Workshop Outline:
1) A brief introduction to the history of wax painting.
2) How to set up a cold wax studio.
3) The different cold wax surfaces and how to prepare them.
4) Learning the proportions to mix oil paint and cold wax.
5) Painting demonstration on how to work with the techniques and tools needed to create your cold wax paintings.
6) Individual tutoring to deal with your specific needs and goals.
7) Take home notes with course information.
